With the album’s September 10th release date now set, the band turned their attention to a full blown publicity campaign in the weeks leading up to the big day, with Simon, Gav and Dave giving interviews in turn to local radio stations Watford’s Vibe 107.6FM, Tropical FM and Radio Verulam 92.6FM. The Watford Observer also gave the album a glowing review in the week prior to it’s release with columnist George Nott attesting to the group’s “exceptional songwriting.”
Finally the weekend of the album’s launch came and the band had something special planned with back to back performances at two large local festivals. First on Saturday 8th September came Croxfest, a growing event now in it’s second year, and by far the band’s biggest gig of 2012, playing a lunchtime set to an estimated 5,000 people. It was a knockout show with the band powering through all their best known numbers and the album, specially available in advance at the festival, started selling like hot cakes! Next day it was up to north Hertfordshire for Balstock and once again the band were on fire.
