Following another appearance at Watford
Live! the band
were invited into Radio
Hillingdon's studios in June for
an interview, where they announced their return to the
Music On The Moor festival the following month — where
the band had rocked the main stage two years earlier. The
2011 event seemed even larger in stature and, in recognition,
the band tore through a muscular 25 minute set in front
of a huge crowd, with the emphasis clearly on the heavier
side of their sound.
Rounding off their summer shows with
a weekend of back to back gigs at Watford
the new Music In The
Parks festival in Harpenden, the band
were delighted to have come through a rapid change not
only unscathed but also sounding bigger than ever!
With all the frenzy of the lineup change and summer shows,
recording of the album had taken an unavoidable back seat,
so in the autumn the band re-focused their energy in the
studio surfacing only for a couple of gigs in St.Albans
and London in October (or 'Rocktober' as had been billed) — a
third had been planned but Simon was forced to cancel due
to ill health.
